Investigators Allude to a Break in the Keddie Cabin Murders

The 1981 murder of Sue, Johnny, Tina Sharp and Dana Wingate remains a mystery, but we may be seeing an arrest soon.

It was 1980 when Glenna Susan Sharp, who preferred to be called Sue, left Connecticut — leaving behind a turbulent marriage. With her five children in tow, she packed whatever belongings they could into her vehicle and hit the road.

She decided on California to be closer to her brother. They first settled in Quincy, California, moving into a 1-bedroom trailer that her brother and his wife had recently vacated, but the cramped trailer park was not ideal for the large family.

Her children ranged in ages John, fifteen, Sheila, fourteen, Tina, twelve, Ricky, ten, and Greg, five. Sue had heard that there was a small resort town nearby in Keddie, California, facing financial problems and converted their cabins into low-income housing.

Keddie cabins was once a massively successful resort destination, but by the 1980s, the cabins had gone into a state of disrepair that no longer brought the affluent crowd it once did.
